Welcoming new graduate students to CVMAIL Lab (AY 2025–2026)

The Computer Vision and Medical AI Lab is delighted to welcome four outstanding graduate students who have joined our research team in the Academic Year 2025–2026.

Nguyen Hai Dang is the first PhD student at VinUniversity. He joined us in Fall 2025 after obtaining his M.S. degree in Computer Science from VNU–Hanoi. His PhD research focuses on medical imaging AI for decision support in radiology.

Nguyen Trong Duc graduated as Valedictorian in Data Science from VNU-University of Science. Duc joined us in Fall 2025 and is currently a first-year PhD student at VinUniversity, conducting research on AI for Pathology.

Vu Hoang Thuy Duong earned her Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Sorbonne University (Paris, France). She has joined VinUniversity as a Master student in Computer Science in Spring 2026. Her current research interests lie in Signal Processing, Natural Language Processing, with long-term aspirations to contribute to the advancement of AI for Mental Health.

Nguyen Thanh Thu graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and completed an internship at VinBigData. In 2023, she was honored with the Vietnam Female Students in Science and Technology Award. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at VinUniversity, focusing on biomedical imaging and quantitative analysis.
