CVMAIL Research Presented at the 40th AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence
The Computer Vision and Medical AI Lab (CVMAIL) is pleased to share that our Research Assistant, Ha Hieu Pham, presented his research at the 40th Annual AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI 2026).

His student abstract, titled “Graph-Theoretic Consistency for Robust and Topology-Aware Semi-Supervised Histopathology Segmentation,” introduces a topology-aware semi-supervised framework designed to improve structural consistency and robustness in gland segmentation for histopathology images under limited annotation settings. By modeling predicted tissue regions as graphs and enforcing topology graph consistency, the proposed approach promotes globally coherent and biologically meaningful segmentation results across diverse datasets.

AAAI is one of the premier international conferences in artificial intelligence, and presenting at this venue reflects both the quality of the research and CVMAIL’s continued commitment to advancing safe and trustworthy AI for healthcare.
Congratulations again to Hiếu on this achievement.
